Damage Control

Spring is here at last.  I can put away my Rene Furterer Karité line of products for very dry hair, since the dry winter air and artificial heat is no longer a concern.  In its place, I can switch over to the Carthame line for dehydrated hair, which keeps my regularly colored tresses in healthy condition.  Of course, come spring, I usually like to add some highlights.  Oh, and that pesky frizz always shows up with the humidity.  Between the bleach from the highlights and the flat iron to smooth out the frizz, I'm now no longer just dehydrated, but kinda damaged, too.  Ah, spring - fewer layers on my body, but so many more layers of product in my hair.

But, wait - a game changer has arrived. Rene Furterer's new Absolue Kératine line for extremely damaged and brittle hair features plant-based keratin to rebuild keratin chains in the hair, biocymentine to seal the cuticle, and camelina oil, which is rich in omega-3.  What does this mean? And how does this line differ from the other dry hair lines?  Well, Goldilocks, if your hair is feeling damaged by regular chemical treatments and heat styling, and Carthame is not enough but Karite requires too many products, then Absolue Kératine is just right for you.

The line consists of 3 products - a shampoo, a mask, and a leave-in cream - all of which are sulfate, silicone, and paraben free.  I've even just put in the leave-in and let my hair air dry.  And there was no frizz, and no static flyaways.  Ah, spring, let's do lunch al fresco.  My hair is ready.
